Camp Sempervirens

Camp Sempervirens is located deep within the Redwood Forests of the Santa Cruz Mountains. We are next to Big Basin State Park in Boulder Creek, CA. Camp Sempervirens is an ideal location for your weekend retreats.

Camp Sempervirens hosts an environmental education program throughout the school year, but has many Weekend, Winter, and Summer dates available for use. We offer full meal service with customized menus suited to meet any groups needs.

Site

Our 20-acre site features a large meadow surrounded by mixed oak, madrone, and redwood forest. Scattered through the trees are 12 cabins, a large Campfire/Theater, Picnic area and Dining Hall. The site also features an organic garden, swimming pool, sand volleyball court, high and low level ropes course, hiking trails, various camp animals, and a huge meadow for games and sports. In addition to this we also offer shuttle service to Big Basin State park for day hikes and exploration.

Staff

Our staff members have extensive training and teaching experience in environmental education and recreation. They have a passion for working with children as well as the outdoors. We are commited to creating an environment that is fun, safe, educational, and inclusive.
